Camille Morgan actually worked as a bus driver for six months. Can you believe what a waste of talent that was, even for six months? “Greyhound was hiring, and I said, ‘You know what? Go for it!’ So I went, and I got hired, and I went to Richmond, Virginia for a month and trained every day. I had to take tests every day. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. We started out with 500 people, and by the end of the class, we had about a hundred. And I was one of the hundred. I looked nice, and you know, the majority of drivers are guys, so people would say, ‘You’re hot!’ and the other women who were there were dikey kind of, so I’d get all kinds of preferential treatment.”
